Hi, my name is Sarah Julia Ambrose. Welcome to my site!

I’m a Musical Theatre Performer from Arizona currently living in New York City. The Big Apple. The Concrete Jungle. Broadway. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere … well, that’s what I’m trying to do!

I have been obsessed with musical theatre since I was 12. Growing up, my mom and I would listen to Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables in the car to and from school, and, eventually, auditions, rehearsals and shows. I’ve been fortunate to play Portia (Something Rotten), Vivian (Legally Blonde) and Gingy (Shrek) in Arizona. After getting my Bachelors in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona – Bear Down! – I produced and performed in a one-woman show in order to raise money to move to New York City to follow my dream.

Unfortunately, life had other ideas and just three months after moving, the Covid-19 pandemic shut down Broadway and just about every aspect of life. After a temporary hiatus, I’m back in the Big Apple and more excited and motivated than ever!

I’m more mature and confident as a person and performer and I’m ready to put my best foot forward each and every time I step on a stage.
